    TUNGSTEN OXIDE

    Blue tungsten oxide (BTO) and yellow tungsten oxide (YTO / WO₃) are the calcination intermediates between APT and metallic tungsten powder. BTO is the sub-stoichiometric form (approx. WO₂.72–WO₂.9); YTO is stoichiometric WO₃. Both are supplied as reduction intermediates and for catalyst and specialty-chemical applications.
