Who is Jayanth Tungsten?
Jayanth Tungsten ® is the brand of Jayanth Enterprises India Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of tungsten metal powders, tungsten carbide powders, fused tungsten carbide, ammonium paratungstate, tungsten oxides and sodium tungstate. The plant is at Shed No. B-6, Hirehalli Industrial Estate, Hirehalli, Tumkur, Karnataka 572168, India.
Are you ISO certified?
Yes. Jayanth Enterprises operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system covering the manufacture and trading of tungsten metal powder, tungsten grits and ferro alloys for industrial application. A copy of the certificate is available on request.
Do you manufacture or trade?
We manufacture. That is what lets us hold grain size and chemistry to a specification rather than sell whatever a lot happens to test at, and it is why we can discuss whether a non-standard target is achievable before you order.
Products and specifications
What products do you supply?
Seven product lines: tungsten metal powder (W), tungsten carbide powder (WC), fused tungsten carbide (W₂C), hard facing tungsten carbide grit, ammonium paratungstate (APT), tungsten oxides (blue and yellow), and sodium tungstate. Each has its own specification page under Products.
What is F.S.S.S. and why does it appear on every specification?
Fisher Sub-Sieve Size is an air-permeability measurement of average particle size. It is the industry convention for tungsten powders because it correlates well with sintering behaviour, which is what most buyers actually care about. It is not the same as a laser diffraction figure, so compare like with like when qualifying a supplier.
Can I specify grain size and apparent density independently?
For tungsten metal powder and WC, not freely — both properties are set by the same production schedule, so they move together across the standard grades. If you need a combination outside those pairings, send the requirement and we will confirm feasibility honestly rather than accept the order and hope.
What purity levels do you hold?
Tungsten metal powder is W min. 99.85% with oxygen max. 0.06%. Tungsten carbide is total carbon min. 6.11% with free carbon max. 0.03%. APT is WO₃ min. 88.5% with carbon max. 0.0010%. Sodium tungstate is assay min. 99%. Full figures are on each product page and on the certificate of analysis.
Can you supply to a custom specification?
Often, for larger orders. Share the application as well as the numbers — knowing what the powder has to do lets us suggest a standard grade that will work, which is usually faster and cheaper for you than a custom run.
Quality and documentation
Do you provide a certificate of analysis?
With every shipment. The certificate states grain size, apparent density and full chemistry for the lot, and retained samples are held against the lot number so a query months later can still be investigated against the actual material.
Can you provide third-party test certificates?
Yes, on request. Independent verification is normal when a buyer is qualifying a new supplier, and we would rather you ask for it than assume.
Can you supply composition data for REACH or SDS obligations?
Yes. For chemical products in particular — sodium tungstate, APT, tungsten oxides — we provide a full composition table on the certificate of analysis to support safety data sheet obligations and incoming-material qualification.
Ordering, packing and export
Which countries do you export to?
We ship to 36 export markets across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and South America. Country-specific logistics and compliance notes are on the individual export pages linked from each product.
How is powder packed for export?
Tungsten metal powder ships in sealed steel drums under nitrogen or vacuum, because the fine grades will pick up oxygen from humid air over a six to eight week sea-freight leg and that would make the oxygen figure on the certificate meaningless on arrival. Carbides and chemicals ship in sealed drums, pails or lined bags with a moisture barrier, palletised for container shipment.
What export documentation do you supply?
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of analysis and certificate of origin as standard. Tungsten powders are classified under HS heading 8101.94 and tungsten carbide under 2849.90.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product and the grade, since some specifications require a dedicated production run. Send your requirement and we will tell you the realistic minimum and lead time for that grade rather than quote a headline figure that does not apply to it.
How do I request a quotation?
Send the product, the grade or target specification, the quantity and the destination port through the contact page, or email sales@jayanthtungsten.com. Including the application helps — it often lets us point you at a standard grade that solves the problem for less.
Can you supply samples before a production order?
Yes. Sample quantities for qualification testing can be arranged for most grades. Tell us what you intend to test so we send a lot that is representative of what you would actually receive.
